As part of the CBSE initiative Nayi Chetna 4.0, Air Force School Kalaikunda organised a Gender Sensitisation Workshop on 20 December 2025. The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Poulami Majumdar Acharya, Principal and CBSE Resource Person, with the objective of promoting awareness about gender equality, dignity, safety and mutual respect among students.

The programme aligns with CBSE’s vision of nurturing socially responsible learners and creating a safe, inclusive and respectful school environment.

Air Force School Kalaikunda organised an enriching in-house training session for teachers on the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) and the National Curriculum Framework 2023 (NCF 2023). The session was led by the Principal, Mrs. Poulami Majumdar Acharya, who is also a certified CBSE Resource Person, bringing both expertise and practical insights to the discussion.

The training highlighted key aspects of NEP 2020, including competency-based education, experiential learning, integration of skills, holistic development, and flexible curricular pathways. The Principal further elaborated on NCF 2023, outlining its emphasis on age-appropriate learning, foundational literacy and numeracy, interdisciplinary teaching, and progressive assessment practices.
